Chilton Times - June 17, 1905

The marriage of Mr. Henry Seipel, of Meeme, and Miss Mary Mellon, of this city, was solemnized in St. Augustine's church on Tuesday morning at six o'clock, Rev. Geo. A. Clifford officiating, and not withstanding the early hour set for the ceremony, a large number of friends of both parties were present. The vride wore a beautiful gown of white with a tulle veil and her maid, Miss Cecilla Mellon, was dressed in a blue. Andrew Seipel, a brother of the groom attended as best man. The immediate relatives of the bride and groom were entertained at dinner at the home of the bride's mother, in celebration of the event, after which the bridal couple drove to Hilbert and took the 2 p.m. train on the Wisconsin Central for a three weeks' trip in northern Wisconsin and Michigan. On their return they will reside at Meeme, Manitowoc Co., where the groom is extensively engaged in the milling and lumber business. He also operates two choice farms in that vicinity and is one of the well to do and energetic young men of Manitowoc county. The bride is one of the foremost educators of this county and for the past five years has been a teacher in one of the departments of our city schools, being exceedingly successful in the work in her grades. She is university respected and friends without number wish her and her husband happiness in their new sphere.
