The wedding of Miss Katie Kennedy and Mr. John Ringwood was celebrated on Tuesday. The ceremony uniting this happy couple was performed at St. Augustin's church in this city by Rev. Fr. Verberk. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Lizzie Kennedy as bridesmaid and Mr. Jeremiah Dwyer, of Marinette, acted as groomsman.
After the ceremony the bridal party drove to the Milwaukee & Northern station, where they took the train for a trip to New Orleans and other southern cities upon their return they will make their home at Cedar River.
The groom is a book-keeper for the Spaulding Lumber Company at Cedar River, Mich, and is a young man who has won the respect of the company, in whose employ he has been for several years past. The bride is the eldest daughter of Moses Kennedy, ex-sheriff of this county. She is a young lady of more than ordinary ability and has for a few years past taught school in various sections of the sated. She is a pleasant, repossessing young lady and will win many friends in her new home. The Times joins with the many friends in wishing the happy couple a prosperous and joyous journey though life.
