Chilton Times May 7, 1873

Mr. Hugh Goggins left Wednesday morning for Washington, Oregon and California to look over the county with a view of locating somewhere on the Pacific Slope. His family will remain in this city till their future home is selected for them. Mr. Goggins has lived in New Holstein and Charlestown this county for thirty-five years and recently sold one of best improved farms in the county, containing 271 acres.
