Tewkes Creek today and Creeky Wood

After the floods of ‘53 Tewkes Creek was dammed as it still is today but the sluice gates have been opened to allow some water back in to fill the old creek bed. Plus trees have been planted in the hope that it will eventually fill the area which is now called Creeky Wood.
