I've been researching my family history for many years.  In the course of this, I've also had the pleasure of researching histories of other families and friends.  Through this site I hope to present this collected information for the benefit of others also researching those families.  Perhaps they will find new information and connections--or have new information to offer.

This compilation is about more than bare facts and statistics.  All of the families and individuals presented here were real people who lived and died among us and their communities.  They had dreams and tried to make their way.  Most experienced youth, the tribulations of raising a family, the struggles of work, the joys of traditions, and the sorrows of loss.  Some died young; others lived long, fruitful lives.  Some struggled to eke out an existance; some fared better.  What were their stories?

This is only as complete and accurate as the information available up to this moment.  No doubt it will continue to evolve over time, as it should.
