On Wednesday, September 5, 2001, Ruby presented us with our first ever litter of Australian Shepherd puppies. Research for the "daddy" of the puppies started long ago. After seeing pictures of Split, and some of his puppies, it was decided to take Ruby down to him. Boy am I glad he was found! Split is a remarkable boy - beautiful, sound, and so loving! Ruby has the same beauty and soundness, but is much more intense. Hopefully his gentleness will temper her! Split is co-owned by Fran Haskins of Maryland and J Frank Baylis of Virginia.

These puppies are beautiful! Lovely heads, good structure, and nice substance make these kids look very nice! At 6 weeks old, their personalities are finally coming out. We have everything from gentle and loving to obnoxios and adventurous! I am having great fun with these babies!

Both parents are OFA Good, CERF clear, full dentition.

These puppies were born less than a week before the September 11th attacks. As I was sitting there, thoroughly stunned at the events, I was also watching the miracle of new life. As I was seeing the country unite, I was watching these little miracles growing. So, the names of these puppies will have some sort of patriotic theme.
