First and principally...it, and my Body to the Earth to be decently buried, at ...tion of my Executor herein after appointed. As touching my worldly Estate, I give, devise and bequeath as follows, that is to say;
Item I and (Sic) bequeath unto my eldest Son John Gullett and his heirs or assigns forever all and singular my part of a Tract of Land called "Bradley's Delight," or more commonly called the old place, being where my Father late lived, said to contain forty four acres.
Item I give and bequeath unto my Son George Gullett his heirs and assigns forever fifty acres of Land to be laid of(f) for him on the north corner of a Tract of Land called "King Sale,"  being part of my Home Tract.
Item I give and bequeath unto my Son James Gullett his heirs or assigns forever fifty acres of Land to be laid of(f) for him on the south corner of the said home Tract.
Item I give and bequeath unto my Son Ezekiel Gullett his heirs and assigns forever this my dwelling House, and Improvements, also thirty five acres of Land with the same including where said Home and Improvements stands.
Item I give and bequeath all the residue of my Land which I possess to my two youngest sons Daniel Gullett, and Solomon Gullett, equally to be divided between them and theirs or assigns forever, to be laid off to each of them as shall best suit in Justice to form their plantations for Timber etc.
Item I give and bequeath unto my three daughters Nancy Pritchett, Betty Gullett and Rachel Gullett, their Heirs, etc. all my personal Estate equally to be divided amongst them. And further my will and Desire is that my well beloved Wife Betty Gullett shall be quietly possessed of all my Estate both real and personal during her Widowhood, except it be the Land Devised to my son John Gullett, and also that she give to my Daughter Nancy Pritchett one cow and calf and one Fether Bed which shall be in part of her Dividend or Share: but after her my said wife's marriage or in case of her Death to Descend in the Manner afsd.
I do also appoint my wife, and my son John Gullett the sole Executors of my Will revoking all former Wills and Testaments by me heretofore made, rattifying and confirming this and none other but this to be my last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and affixed my seal this 12th Day of February Seventeen hundred and ninety one_1791

Personally appeared before me John Laws Register for the Probate of Wills & granting Letters of Administration in & for the County of Kent & State aforesd. Christopher Jump & Ann Thomas the subscribing witnesses to the within instrument of writing, who being solemnly sworn upon the holy Evangels of Almighty God, do say, that they & each of them did see John Gullett dec'd sign & seal this instrument of writing by way of making his mark & also heard him publish pronounce and declare the same as & for his testament & last will and that at ____ time of his so doing & saying he was to the best of their judgments (of) sound, & disposing mind, memory & understanding; and also that they and each of them did subscribe their names as witnesses to the same in the presence & at the request of the Testator.
In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand, this 13th day of June Seventeen hundred & Ninety seven. 1797

Executor's Bond on Estate of John Gullett
dated 13 June 1797

Know all Men by these Presents, That we Betty Gullett- Widow & Relict of John dec'd & John Gullett, & Zeblon Hopkins & Christopher Jump of the County of Kent, are held and firmly bound unto the State of Delaware, in the sum of six hundred & fifty pounds current Money of the said State; unto which Payment, well and truly to be made unto the said State, we bind ourselves, our Heirs, Executors and Administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these Presents. Sealed with our Seals, and dated at Dover, in Kent, aforesaid, this thirteenth Day of June in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety-seven.

THE CONDITION of this Obligation is such That the above bounden Betty Gullett & John Gullett Executors in the Testament and last Will of John Gullett late of the County aforesaid Yeoman deceased, do make, or Cause to be made, a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the Goods and Chattels, Rights and Credits of the said deceased, which have or shall come to the Hands, Possession or Knowledge of the said Betty Gullett & John Gullett or unto the Hands or Possession or any Person or Persons, for them and the same so made do exhibit, or cause to be exhibited, into the Register's Office of the County of Kent, aforesaid; at or before the thirteenth Day of December next ensuing the Date hereof, and the same Goods and Chattels, Rights and Credits, of the said deceased, at the Time of his death; or whichat any Time after shall come to the Hands or Possession of the aforesaid Betty Gullett & John Gullett or into the Hands or the Possession of any other Person or Persons, for them do well and truly administer, according to Law, and further do make or cause to be made, a true and just Account of their Executorship, at or before the 13th Day of June which shall fall in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety-eight, and all the Rest and Residue of the said Goods and Chattels, Rights and Credits, which shall be found remaining upon the said Executors Account, the same being first inspected and allowed of by the Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration of Kent County, aforesaid, shall deliver and pay unto such Person or Persons, respectively, as the said Register, by his Decree or Sentence, pursuant to the true Intent and Meaning of the last Will and Testament of the said deceased shall limit and appoint, then this Obligation to be void and of none Effect, or else to remain in full Force and Virtue.
