Eve Ross and Family

Eve Ross was born about 1799 in York County, Pennsylvania. She married James Wagstaff on September 23, 1817. She died in Guernsey County, Ohio on February 1, 1839. James Wagstaff was born Januaryn 13, 1790 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. He is a veteran of the War of 1812. He died in Guernsey County, Ohio on January 25, 1846. He married Margaret Brown on February 15, 1845. He is buried in Lebanon U.P. Church Cemetery, Guernsey Co., Ohio.

James Wagstaff is the son of William Wagstaff Sr. and Charity Southard. William was born in 1752 in Birmingham, England and served in the American Revolution in the Virginia Militia. He died July 4, 1840. He is buried in the Old Cadiz Cemetery.
