The funeral for Mary Mildred Falk, 81, Edgeley, ND, will be at 10:30
Thursday in St. Boniface Catholic Church, Wimbledon, ND. She died
Monday. Mary Mildred Lonski was born Dec 9, 1902, at Kensal, ND. She
attended school in Foster County, ND, and later worked at Jamestown,
ND. She married Tony Falk in December 1929 at Kensal and they
farmed at Courtenay, ND and Wimbledon until retiring in 1969. In
1978 they moved into Wimbledon and in 1983 to St. Joseph Manor, Edgeley.
She is survived by her husband; two
sons, Raymond, Jamestown and Richard, Rapid City, SD; a brother, Clement
Lonski, Jamestown, six grandchildren and two

The funeral for Tony [Anton]
Falk, 95, Jamestown, N.D., formerly Wimbledon, N.D., will be at 10:30
Wednesday in St. Boniface Catholic Church, Wimbledon, N.D. Visitation
will be from 9 to 9 today, with a prayer service at 7, in Lisko Funeral
Chapel, Jamestown. He died Friday. [May 5, 1989]
Mr. Falk was born Nov. 5, 1893,
near Courtenay, N.D., where he attended school. He married Mary Lonski
Oct. 9, 1929, in Kensal, N.D.
They farmed in the Courtenay area
until purchasing a farm near Wimbledon in 1946. She died in 1984. He
became a resident of Hi-Acre Manor in Jamestown in 1986.
He is survived by two sons,
Raymond, Jamestown; and Richard, Rapid City, S.D.; a brother, Joseph,
Carrington, N.D.; a sister, Gertrude Stahl, Wimbledon; a stepsister,
Magdalene Liegmen, Jamestown; an six grandchildren.

The funeral for
Raymond A. Falk, 61, Jamestown, N.D., will be at 10:30 Tuesday in St.
Boniface Catholic Church, Wimbledon, N.D. Visitation will be from noon
to 9 today and from 9 to 9 Monday, with a prayer service at 7 and rosary
service at 7:30, in Lisko Funeral Home, Jamestown, and one hour before
services in the church. He died Saturday, Dec. 14, 1991.
Mr. Falk was born
Aug. 1, 1930, in Courtenay, N.D., where he grew up and attended rural
schools. He graduated from Wimbledon High School. He worked as a
mechanic for Ole Fluetsch and Clarence Wagner in Wimbledon. He also
worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. for 42 years in Wimbledon and
the North Dakota towns of Ellendale, Valley City and Courtenay before he
was transferred in 1980 to Jamestown. He married Margaret Cebula in 1952
in Fried, N.D.
He is survived by
his wife; a son David, Jamestown; a daughter, Janet Falk, Fargo; a
brother, Richard, Rapid City, S.D.; and two grandchildren. |

Elsie Falk, 81, Jamestown, died
Sunday, March 28, 2004, at Central Dakota Village, Jamestown.
Elsie Lorraine Franz was born
Feb. 11, 1923, on the family farm near Montpelier, N.D., the daughter of
Jacob and Fredricka (Rau) Franz. She was raised on the farm and attended
the rural Montpelier school. After her schooling she moved to Jamestown
where she worked as a housekeeper and daycare provider for the Schauer
family. She married Peter Falk on June 2, 1942, at St. Mary’s Catholic
Church, Courtenay, N.D. They lived on a farm near Courtenay where they
farmed until 1974. After they retired from farming, they moved to
Jamestown. She worked as a cook at the North Dakota State Hospital,
Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Center, and Jamestown Country Club, ran the gift
shop and lunch bar at Jamestown Hospital and was a housekeeper at the
Gladstone Hotel. In 2004, she entered Central Dakota Village. She was a
member of The Basilica of St. James, St. James Tabernacle Society and
American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband;
two daughters, LaVerne Larson, Jamestown and Diane (David) Schulz,
Bismarck, N.D.; a son, Darwin, Anaheim, Calif.; a brother, Marvin
(Helga), Jamestown; a sister, Violet Lengkeek, Olympia, Wash.; six
grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Adolph (Ida) and Alfred
(Hortensia); and a brother-in-law, Art Lengkeek.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, The
Basilica Of St. James, Jamestown, with the Rev. Al Bitz officiating.
Prayer Service: 7 p.m. Thursday, Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.
Visitation: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown.

Peter John Falk, 91, Jamestown,
died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007, at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown.
Mr. Falk was born Jan. 28, 1916,
on the family farm near Courtenay, N.D., the son of Peter Paul and Anna
(Sazama) Falk. He grew up on the family farm and attended Durham
Township School. He worked on the family farm. He married Elsie Franz on
June 2, 1942, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Courtenay. They farmed
across the road from where he grew up until 1974 when they moved to
Jamestown. He worked at the Veterans of Foreign Wars as a maintenance
man for 12 years. In February 2004 they entered Central Dakota Village,
Jamestown. He was a member of St. James Basilica and Jamestown Eagles.
He is survived by two daughters,
LaVerne Larson, Jamestown, and Diane (David) Schulz, Bismarck, N.D.; a
son, Darwin, Anaheim, Calif.; two sisters, Anne Fredricks and Florence
Sabinash, both Jamestown; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and
a great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his
wife; parents; two brothers, George and Jacob; and a sister, Mary.
Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, St.
James Basilica, Jamestown.
Prayer service: 8 p.m. today at the church.
Visitation: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, and
one hour before the service at the church Saturday.
