Delfina or Delphener or Delphfenia Honor was born 8 September 1869 in Methwold, West Norfolk
[but I have yet to find her birth registration in the G.R.O. Indexes!]
She was the 11th child and 2nd daughter of Emmanuel & Susannah.
Delphfenia Honor PALMER was married to Albert William HAYLETT at St. Augustine's Church, Wisbech,
Cambridgeshire, on 28 February 1896.

In Mary TEED's Bible, spelt Delphenia Honor & Delphener.
1881 U.K. Census - spelt "Delphener" ; aged 11, at Methwold, Norfolk.
1891 U.K. Census - spelt Delphinier; living with her widowed mother, Susannah
at 21 Queen St, Wisbech.
1901 U.K. Census - see below for spelling!
1910 - on her headstone at Mount Pleasant - spelt Delphenia Honor
but in Burial register, spelt "Delphfenia"
So where does "Delfina" come from? [Mum's spelling?]
From Unather D. Palmer, Tasmania, to Jean Matthews, 11 November, 1983 -
"When Aunt Delphenia died - the children were left orphans as her husband took off with another woman.
Archie lived with Uncle Angelo; Arundel went into the Poor Law Institution (Workhouse) as he also
suffered from fits; Cyril went away to Ipswich to work in a nursery and eventually had one of his
own, coming back to live in a caravan at Vera's on the South Brink, and died there.
Vera lived with [Uncle Louis &] Aunt Kate before marriage."
At the time of the 1901 U.K. Census, Delphfenia, although married, is with her mother,
Susannah PALMER,in Queen Street, Wisbech, with her 3 young children:
