McCullough -- The death occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Allan Izatt, Elphin, of Mrs. McCullough, widow of the late James McCullough, on Wednesday, May 10th. Deceased, whose maiden name was Adeline Ranger, daughter of the late John and Mrs. Ranger, was born in the Province of Quebec, 78 years ago. The family removed to Perth, and a few years later to Fallbrook. After her marriage in 1870 she resided on a farm near McDonald's Corners, and remained there until the death of her son, James, five months ago. Mrs. McCullough was a faithful member of the Presbyterian church, her goodness of heart, kindness and sweetness of disposition endeared her to all her neighbors and acquaintances. They all mourn her departure, yet there is no real cause of grief in such a death. Surviving are two brothers -- Andrew Ranger of Carleton Place and John of Cobalt. Two sisters -- Mrs. Robt. Allen of Englehart, and Mrs. O'Connor, of Toronto. Also two sons -- William of Dalhousie and Peter of Chalk River, and four daughters -- Mrs. Allan Izatt of North Sherbrooke, Mrs. Pudd, of Souris, Man., Mrs. Bulloch of Reston, Man., and Mrs. Charles Caldwell of Watson's Corners. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. A.M. Little at the home of Allan Izatt, and interment made at the Highland Line Cemetery, the pallbearers being neighbors and intimate friends of the family. The floral offerings were a spray from Mrs. John Geddes, wreaths from Mrs. Howard McInnes and Mrs. John Wilson. The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved ones. -- Era.
