Nancy Ann Stallings was born about 1771 in Maryland. On 9 May 1802 she married Lawrence Bishop in Bullitt Co., Ky. Lawrence was born 12 May 1763, in Cumberland Co. [now Bedford], Pa. In 1803 Lawrence owned 170 acres on the Salt River in Bullitt Co.

 They had the following known children:

           i.     Anna (1804-<1877)

          ii.     Mary Emma (1807-<1850)

         iii.     Samuel (1812-)

          iv.     Oliver Perry (1814-1891)

Anna Bishop  was born about 1804 in Bullitt Co., Kentucky. On 25 Feb 1829 she married Jeremiah (Jerry) Stallings, son of Henry Stallings & Lucy Orme, in Bullitt Co., Kentucky.

Mary Emma Bishop was born in 1807. She married James Gunn. They lived in Jefferson Co., Kentucky. They had 5 children: Milburn, Eliza, Emma, Dowell and Thomas.

Samuel Bishop was born in 1812 in Bullitt Co., Kentucky. On 24 Oct 1841 he married Eliza J. Bogard, She was born about 1819 in Indiana. They lived in Mt. Washington, Bullitt Co., where Samuel was a farmer. Samuel and Eliza both died after 1880.

They had the following children:

i. William  Lee born about 1844 in Bullitt Co., Kentucky.

ii. Henry Noble was born about 1845 in Bullitt Co., Kentucky. On 6 Oct 1873 he married Sarah James, daughter of Otho James and Lucretia Stallings, in Bullitt Co., Kentucky. Sarah was born in 1854 in Bullitt Co., Kentucky.

iii. Jacob W. was born about 1847 in Bullitt Co., Kentucky.

iv. James R was born 1850 in Bullitt Co., Kentucky. He married Laura and they had 2 children: Harry and Sally.

v. Margaret A. Born about 1852 in Bullitt Co., Kentucky.

vi. David M. was born  about 1854 in Bullitt Co., Kentucky. On 24 Feb 1881 he married Mary M. Stader, daughter of Peter Stader & Elizabeth Stark, in Bullitt Co., Kentucky. Mary was born in 1861.

vii. Oliver. Born in Jul 1857 and died on 2 Sep 1857 in Bullitt Co., Kentucky.

viii. Minor. born about 1862 in Mt. Washington, Bullitt Co., Kentucky

5. Oliver Perry Bishop was born on 23 Sep 1814 in Bullitt Co., Kentucky. Oliver Perry married Mary J. Hundley. She was born on 23 Jan 1823 in Bullitt Co., Kentucky. Oliver died in Bullitt Co., Kentucky on 23 Dec 1891. Mary J. died on 16 Jul 1901. They are both buried in Bethel Cemetery, Bullitt Co., Kentucky. Oliver and Mary had 8 children: William, Nancy A., Cordelia, Eliza C, Beverly Ann,  George E., Susan and John.
