ED 1         Folios 4 - 10         309 persons

All that  part of the Parish of Rudgwick  which lies to the North of the Road leading from the Roman Gate to Bucks Green, and to the East of the Road leading from Bucks Green to the County Gate including the whole of the Village of Rudgwick on both sides of the Street, the district being bounded on the North by Ewhurst,  Abinger and Wotton, on the East by Warnham, and on the South East by Slinfold.



ED 2         Folios 14 - 22        407 persons

All that  part of the Parish of Rudgwick  except Rudgwick Street lying to the West of the Road from the County Gate to Bucks Green, and the West Side of the Road from Bucks Green to Drunswick Gate, which district is bounded on the West by Wisboro Green, and on the North by Cranley and Ewhurst.

All that  part of the Parish of Rudgwick  which lies to South of road from the Roman Gate to Drunswick Gate which district is bounded on the South East by Slinfold, on the South by Billingshurst, and on the West by Wisboro Green.

All that  part of the Parish of Billingshurst  on the East Side of the London Road intersecting the Parish from North to South, known and called the "Eastern Division" of the Parish of Billingshurst, and is bounded on the South by the Parish of Pulborough and the Parish of West Chittingham, and on the East by the Parishes of Shipley and Itchingfield, and on the North by the Parish of Slinfold. This District comprises all the portion of the Village and Parish of Billingshurst which lies in the East of the said London Road and that portion of the Hamlets of Adversane and Five Oaks on the East side of the said Road.

All that  part of the Parish of Billingshurst  lying on the West Side of the London Road intersecting the Parish from North to South, known as and called the Western Division of the Parish of Billingshurst, bounded on the South by the Parish of Pulborough, on the West by Wisborough Green, and on the North by the Parish of Rudgwick. This District includes all that portion of the Village of Billingshurst which lies on West Side of said London Road.

All that  part of the Parish of Wisborough Green  which lies to the South of the Road leading from Petworth to Newbridge (except the Village), the district being bounded by Fittleworth on the South West and Pulborough on the South

All that  part of the Parish of Wisborough Green  which lies to the North of the Road leading from Wisboro Green Village to New Bridge, and East of the Road from Wisboro Green Village to Seywood Bridge, including all the houses on Round Street, Crumond and Lakers Lodge. The district being bounded on the East by Rudgwick and Billingshurst.



ED 8           Folios 100 - 112      601 persons

All that  part of the Parish of Wisborough Green  which lies to the North of Road from Wisborough Green to Champions Lane including the Village of Wisborough Green and West of the Road from Wisborough Green Village to Loxwood Bridge, including all the houses on Gunshott common.

The district being bounded on the West by Kirdford.



ED 9          Folios 116 - 123       355 persons

All that  part of the Parish of Wisborough Green  which lies to the North of River from Loxwood Bridge to Drunswick Bridge, the district being bounded on the North by Alfold, on the East by Rudgwick, this includes the Village of Loxwood?

Note: Beside the Village of Loxwood,  there are in this district Four New collections of Houses,  vis   Alfold Bars,  Spy Lane - Pancake Lane - and Chapel Green, the other residences consist of isolated Houses which are entered in this book by the names they are generally known by.
