Alice died 19 JAN 1926 in Culloden, Monroe County, Ga., at 57 years of age. Her body was interred after 19 JAN 1926 in Culloden, Monroe County, Ga., Culloden City Cemetery.

John P., 44, married 26 years, farmer on his own account on rented farm 17; could read and write; Alice, 39, 12 children nine living; could read and write; John T., 22, single; farm laborer and farmer, could read and write; Cleveland, 19, single; farm laborer and farmer, could read and write; Alva P., 17, single; farm laborer and farmer, could read and write; Louis S., 15, single; farm laborer and farmer, could read and write; Eva Lou, 12, single; no occupation, could read and write; had been in school since Sept. 1909; Lillie B., 11, single; no occupation, could read and write; had been in school; and Furman, 9, single; no occupation; could read and write; had been in school.

84 v. Alvah Perry ELLINGTON was born in Culloden, Monroe County, Ga. 23 SEP 1892; birthplace given as Upson County on his military records. Alvah died 20 DEC 1951 in Thomaston, Upson County, Ga., at 59 years of age. His body was interred after 20 DEC 1951 in Thomaston, Upson County, Ga., Glenwood Cemetery. He married Mittie Wynn DUNAHOO Ellington in Upson County, Ga., 26 DEC 1941. License issued 20 Dec.

Mittie was born 22 MAR 1902. birthdate also given as 1914. Mittie died 23 NOV 1966 in Upson County, Ga., at 64 years of age. Her body was interred after 23 NOV 1966 in Thomaston, Upson County, Ga., Glenwood Cemetery.

Alvah was inducted into the military in Forsyth, Monroe County, Ga., 22 JUN 1916. Enlisted the National Guard, serving as a private in Co. M, 2nd Inf., Ga. National Guard through Aug. 17, 1917, then in Co. B., 151st MG battalion until his discharge. He served overseas from Oct. 31, 1917 to April 26, 1919. His tombstone reads, "Ga. Pfc. 151 NG Bn., 42 Div., WWI." He was released from active duty 13 MAY 1919.

He resided in Culloden, Monroe County, Ga. FEB 1924.

+ 85 vi. Louie Smith ELLINGTON sr was born 6 NOV 1894.

+ 86 vii. Eva Lou ELLINGTON Pierson was born 6 DEC 1896.

+ 87 viii. Lillian Betty ELLINGTON Brown was born 30 OCT 1900.

88 ix. Furman ELLINGTON was born in Culloden, Monroe County, Ga. 15 DEC 1902. Furman died 10 FEB 1924 in Norfolk, Va., at 21 years of age of pneumonia, a complication of measles. His body was interred 13 FEB 1924 in Culloden, Monroe County, Ga., Culloden City Cemetery.

He was inducted into theNavy in Norfolk, Va., 2 JAN 1924.
