Lucius died 15 AUG 1965 in Upson County, Ga., at 95 years of age. His body was interred after 15 AUG 1965 in Thomaston, Upson County, Ga., Southview Cemetery.

He married Ludie Frances SMITH Ellington in Upson County, Ga., 13 JAN 1892. License issued 12 Jan. Ludie was born in Thomaston, Upson County, Ga. 22 NOV 1874 (JUN 1873 as given on the nearly illegible 1900 census). She was the daughter of John M. SMITH and Sarah J. POPE Smith.

Ludie died 5 OCT 1950 in Thomaston, Upson County, Ga., at 75 years of age.

Lucius, 46, married 20 years; farmer on the home farm O.A.; could read and write; renting farm 764 (house 61), Jug District; Ludie, 33, nine children eight living; home occupation; could read and write; Lillie, 17, worked at home; could read and write; was widowed; Grady, 16, laborer on the home farm; could read and write; had attended school since Sept. 1909; Dixie, 12, laborer on the home farm; could read and write; had attended school; John T., 14, laborer on the home farm; could read and write; had attended school; Sallie G., 10, student; could read and write; had attended school; Horace, 8, no occupation; could read and write; had attended school; Gaines, 4; Victhia, 1 (female).

Lucius was a member of New Hope Primitive Baptist Church in Yatesville, date unknown.

child 99 x. Nettie ELLINGTON Haygood was born in Thomaston, Upson County, Ga. 2 SEP 1911. She married Farley F. HAYGOOD jr in Upson County, Ga., 28 NOV 1936. marriage date taken from Upson County marriage records. Also given as Nov. 28, 1933.

Farley was born in Monroe County, Ga. 26 FEB 1909. He was the son of Farley HAYGOOD sr. Farley died 17 JUL 1973 in Augusta, Richmond County, Ga., at 64 years of age.
