According to Jack Morgan: Stephen followed his father to Clayton, Ala., then moved to Meriwether County, Ga., near Warm Springs before relocating to Upson County.

10 iii. Ocie M. McRAE Vining was born 12 SEP 1874. Osie died 18 JUL 1956 at 81 years of age. Her body was interred after 18 JUL 1956 in Upson County, Ga., Fellowship Baptist Cemetery. She married Rev. John H. VINING 4 NOV 1894. John was born 3 MAR 1861. John died 26 AUG 1939 at 78 years of age. His body was interred after 26 AUG 1939 in Upson County, Ga., Fellowship Baptist Cemetery.He was probably the son of Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Vining, with a sister named Missoura, and kin to the Vinings who married into the Self family.
