Sam was born 24 MAR 1888. Sam died 16 MAY 1963 at 75 years of age. His body was interred after 16 MAY 1963 in Thomaston, Upson County, Ga., South View Cemetery. Was Samuel the brother of Leona Daniel, who married Leola's first cousin Eldridge Ellington? His brother Lawson Ellington took out a marriage license for Leola Cox on 26 August 1912, but it was not returned.
