Red died 7 JUN 1981 in Thomaston, Upson County, Ga., at 67 years of age. His body was interred 9 JUN 1981 in Griffin, Spalding County, Ga., Oak Hill Cemetery. Coggins Funeral Home in Thomaston, Ga., had charge of arrangements.
Red grew up in Griffin, hanging out in pool halls. He was a mechanic and was said to have run moonshine.

Around 1930 he lived in Columbus, Ga., before moving to Upson County.

Lillie was born in Pelham, Mitchell County, Ga. 20 MAY 1917. She was the daughter of John Washington AMERSON and Vallie Gertrude Carpenter AMERSON. Lillie died 8 OCT 1944 in Thomaston, Upson County, Ga., at 27 years of age from complications of childbirth (twins); she apparently had had trouble pregnancies earlier. Her body was interred 10 OCT 1944 in Griffin, Spalding County, Ga., Oak Hill Cemetery, by Hugh Lamar Force according to Stephens Funeral Home records.

He married Mary TYNER Force in Savannah, Chatham County, Ga., 1945 while working at the shipyards in Savannah. Mary was divorced from Hugh Lamar FORCE in Georgia, 1946. Red, Mickey and Peggy left Savannah in a Jeep with their clothes and his billfold to return to Georgia.

He married Alberta SUNDAY Force 1948. Bert was born in Florida 24 APR 1924. Bert died 4 JUL 1986 in Thomaston, Upson County, Ga., at 62 years of age of emphysema and heart disease.

Bert's grandfather was reportedly fullblooded Indian. Granny Sunday (married at 14, pregnant at 15) also looked like an Indian. This was a second marriage for Alberta, who was first married at 15 and divorced.

In Upson County, Ga., 15 MAR 1958, H.L. Force was declared the natural guardian of his minor daughter Peggy Force, posting a $700 bond. Natural Guardianship Letters Book 1, page not noted. Bethel Salter, ordinary.

Bert was divorced from Hugh Lamar FORCE in Thomaston, Upson County, Ga., 1977. A few years after their divorce, both in bad health, Red and Bert moved back in together but did not remarry.
