The Autograph Book of my Grandfather and Namesake, Claude Leroy Difford Claude Leroy Difford was born in Olmsted Falls, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, May 26, 1879, the son of Albert Samuel Difford and Mary Jane Locke.
The signatures in this autograph book start in 1890 and go through 1895. One of the schools mentioned is Gordon School, and the other one is Garfield. I believe Garfield School is on the west side of Cleveland, but have never heard of Gordon School. If anyone has any information on Gordon School, I'd really appreciate hearing from you by email.
