324. George FOOTE was born in 1706 in Stafford Co., VA.33 George married a 2nd time after the death of Frances in 1753, to Mary Jones. There were two children born to George and Mary. He signed a will on 31 May 1759 in Fauquier Co., VA.122 The will of George Foote was probated in Fauquier County in 1759, in which he mentioned his sons: William, Richard, Gilson, Henry and George Foote: and his daughters: Elizabeth, Frances and Behethland Foote. George Foote died before 28 Jun 1759 in Fauquier Co., VA.33 His estate was probated on 28 Jun 1759 in Fauquier Co., VA.160 His estate appeared in probation in 1760 in Fauquier Co., VA.161 His estate was named in the "Virginia Publick Claims" Property used during Rev. War on 25 Mar 1782 in Fauquier Co., VA.162 Note from Brian Foote: "George's portions of his father's 25% of the 30,000 access of Brent Town fell in Prince William and what would later become Fauquier County, West of Cedar Run. George's share included land on Champ's Run, north of Town Run, and other acreage on Cedar Run. For his home site he selected 295 acres within two miles of the old Brent Town on the Shenandoah Hunting path. There, a small community still existed and included in a few years Harding's Inn, or "Ordinary" as inns were called, and Elk Run Church." Four of the sons of George Foote, deceased, whereas hereto fore many years ago George Brent, Robert Bristow, Nicholas Hayward and Richard Foote, grandfather of the first named Richard Foote, party to these presents obtained a patent from the then proprietor of the Northern Neck of Virginia for 30,000 acres of land known by the name of Brent Tract as by the said patent may fully appear and whereas at the death of said Richard Foote the patentees undivided fourth part of the said Brent Town land descended to his son Richard Foote, the father of the first named Richard, who having been seized of the said undivided fourth part in his demise as of fee simple made his last will & testament in writing (as is fully stated in the opening pages of Mr. Watsons information of the Foote Family). George willed his part to sons Henry, George, Gilson, Richard and William; Henry sold to William Stuart; resurvey showed original division had shorted the Foote 7500 acre share by 1450 acres, all in subsequent division coming out of his own part; he accepts settlement with his nephews; wit Absalom X Ramey, Benjamin Pope, James X Drummond. He was married to Frances BERRYMAN on 3 Dec 1731 in St. Paul's Parish, Stafford Co., VA.33 George married a second time, after the death of Frances to Mary Jones. George had two sons by his second marriage, Richard and William. 325.

VA.33 i. George FOOTE was born on 20 Jan 1734/35 in St. Paul's Parish, Stafford Co., VA.33 George married Margaret Kincheloe 15 Mar 1761.
He went to Orange Co., NC about 1764. Based on deed
in Fauquier Co., VA dated 1764, he was preparing to leave. He was named
in the PS County Officer during Revolution DAR #677800 & #678248 between
1776 and 1783 in Caswell Co., NC.
He died on 16 Dec 1808 in Chester Co., SC.33
His will was signed on 9 Sep 1808. He may
have been known as Berryman.33
