Antoinette, shows he and Anna, emigrated in 1848 from Werdorf, Germany.64 Frederick and family were on the 1850 Austin TX Census taken on 21 Oct 1850.66 He filed is Intention to become a citizen in 1854 in Austin Co., TX.67 Frederick and family were the 1850 Census taken on 27 Jul 1860 in Industry, Austin Co., TX.68 He appeared on the census in 1870 in Industry, Austin Co., TX.69 Frederick and family were the census in 1880 in Industry, Austin Co., TX.26 They are living next door to William Altman and wife Magdelena "Lena", who is their daughter.
Frederick Gross family is family #188-190, Wm. Altmann is family#189-191, John Rinn, and wife Wilhelmine "Minna", who is their daughter is family#185-187, Daniel Rinn, and wife Mathilda, who is their daughter is family#180-182. So, they were all living with in close distance of each other.

was born in Apr 1848 aboard the ship Antoinette, during the voyage from Bremen, Germany.64
He appeared on the census in Jun 1900 in Austin
Co., TX, living in the household of Wm. Altman and Lena Altman (his sister).27 His occupation was a Blacksmith on the 1900 Census.
He died on 10 Feb 1927 in Austin Co., TX.71
It would appear that perhaps Frederick "Fritz" Gross never married.

Mathilda GROSS72 was born on 26
Sep 1850 in Post Oak Point, Austin Co., TX.

72 Mathilda and Daniel had eight children, four reaching maturity. She died on
28 Aug 1891 in Industry, Austin Co., TX and is buried in the New Ulm Cemetery.

George GROSS
was born about 1853. He died on 23 Sep 1873 in New Ulm,
Austin Co., TX. He
was buried in Frnka Cemetery, New Ulm, Austin Co., TX. The Frnka Cemetery is about a mile out of New Ulm
on FM109.

Charles GROSS was born about 1855 in Texas.
Charles may have died young, I have no further information on him.

Anna had nine children. Henry and family were on the census in Jun 1900 in Austin Co., TX.
