Deceased Name: DONALD HALL, 55, OF ELIDA, DIED AT 10:45 P.M. JUNE 6, 2003, AT HIS RESIDENCE.
DONALD HALL, 55, of Elida, died at 10:45 p.m. June 6, 2003, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 18, 1947, in McGuffey to Delbert and Nina Harris Hall. His
mother, Nina Price, survives in Findlay.
On April 3, 1982, he married Deborah Ann McClain, who survives in Elida.
Mr. Hall had worked as a corrections officer at Allen Correctional Institution
and part-time as a police officer with the Elida Police Department. He was a
member of the American Legion and the Fraternal Order of Police.
Survivors also include stepfather Charles Clapper of Lima; three daughters,
Rhonda McDaniel of Albertville, Ala., and Debra Fromm and Donna (Jason) Kline,
both of Elida; a brother, Russell (Connie) Hall of Kissimmee, Fla.; two
half-brothers, Edward Bright and Kenneth (Sherry) Bright, both of Findlay;
three sisters, Beverly (Ernie) Davis and Kathy Cramer, both of Findlay, and
Maryanne (Ron) Jenkins of Van Buren; a half-sister, Sharon (Mark) Bonom of
Long Beach, Calif.; a stepbrother, Rob (Rhonda) Clapper of Lima; three
stepsisters, Delores (William) Mears, Barbara (Matt) Millirans and Vicki
Colley, all of Lima; eight grandchildren; and special friends, Robert and
Linda Decker of Lima.
He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Phyllis Clapper; a twin brother,
Ronald Hall; a stepbrother, Rene Clapper; and a sister, Alice Hall.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Siferd Funeral Homes, Westwood
Chapel. The Rev. James Neighbors will officiate.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to
services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to St. Rita's Hospice or
the American Cancer Society.
