Glenda Faye Simpson

Faye Simpson, 58, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, at Middlesboro
Appalachian Regional Hospital.
Born Sept. 17, 1948, in Pineville, she was the daughter of late Raymond and
Thelma Widner. She was a member of First Apostolic Church, where she
ministered in praise worship, Sunday school teacher and outreach.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James
Widner.
Her love will continue to be shared by all those she touched.
Survivors include her husband, Jim R. Simpson, Arthur, Tenn.; sons, Delbert (Durrell)
Jackson and Michael L. Jackson, both of Pineville; stepsons, Jimmy D. Simpson,
Anthony (Tony) Simpson; stepdaughter, Priscilla M. Simpson; daughters-in-law,
Tasha Daniels and Sunny Simpson; grandchildren, Jessica (Derrick) Barnett,
April (Josh) Wright, Ashley (Jeremy) Barnett, Christopher D. Jackson, Michael
A. Simpson, Joshua D. Jackson, Nathanael J. Simpson, and Megan Jackson;
great-grandchildren, Kiearra M. Johns, Taylor Barnett; sisters, Dora Mae
Akers, Betty Taylor, Laura Emery, Sue (Marshall) Baines; brother, Doyle
(Phyllis) Widner; special friend, Terry Leach; and a host of nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Apostolic Church
with Pastor Ole Robinette and the Rev. Charles Bush presiding. Music will be
by First Apostolic Church choir.
Burial will be in
Pineville Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Jackson, Michael
Simpson, Josh Jackson, Derek Johns, Justin Powers, Jeremy Barnett, Terry
Widner, Jonathon Leach, Chuckie Ray Barnett. Honorary pallbearers will be
Charles Bush, Perry Evans, Ronnie Wade, Carson Keith and Kenneth Hensley.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Friday at First Apostolic
Church.
