Doyal Ray Widener, Jr.
PINEVILLE - Doyal Ray
Widener Jr., 40, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2004, at his home.
He was
born May 17, 1964, in Bell County a son of Doyal Ray Widener Sr. and Phyllis
Warren Widener. He believed in the Holiness faith.
In addition to his
parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sherrie Genice Widener;
grandparents, Raymond Arthur and Thelma Mae Widener,. Lee and Hazel Warren;
Emmie Mills Warren Bain; and a niece, Seiara Faith Widener.
Survivors
include his father, Doyal Ray Widener Sr., Pineville, mother, Phyllis Widener,
Pineville; wife of 18-years, Mary Jane Caldwell Widener, Pineville; one son,
Johnathan Scott Widener, Pineville; two daughters, Kelly Lynn Miller, Stoney
Fork, Amanda Denice Widener, Pineville; step-grandfather, Otis Bain, Pineville;
three brothers, Terry Wayne Widener, Jamie Ray Widener, and Jason Curtis
Widener, all of Pineville; three sisters, Veronaca Gail Brown, Kathy Lynn North,
Melissa Kay Philpot, all of Pineville; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other
relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at
Creech-Durham Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Baker and the Rev. Paul Bailey
presiding. Music will be provided by Mary Caldwell and Louise
Saylor.
Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends
will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 2-10 p.m. Saturday at Creech-Durham Funeral Home, Pineville, which is in charge of arrangements.
