Jade,

If neither Seto Sen Ng nor his sons emigrated to the US, Canada or other countries, then informational records about them are likely to be minimal except for those that exist in the village itself. Chek Hom is the name of a market town, and it is located in Hoiping District (one of the "4 districts" area called Sze Yup) in Guangdong Province in China. Chek Hom was originally founded by the Seto/Situ and Kwan/Quan family clans, so the Seto name is quite prominent in Chek Hom. Chek Hom is a scenic old river town lined with quaint old-styled shop houses along its bank. Lacking other information, you may need to go to Chek Hom and find a copy of the Seto genealogy book called a "jook po" ("zupu" in Mandarin). Most likely your family lineage is contained in this book. It will be in Chinese, so must be translated if you cannot read Chinese. Good luck in your search.

Raymond
