Thank you so much for finding time to search the internet for my father's surname. Unfortunately, I do not have any letters for my late father from China. Yes, it would help a lot if they are available. All I have is my parent's marriage license which says his original name was TEH TIAM, which was changed to ALBERTO TE when he was baptized in the Catholic church prior to his marriage to my mother. His birthplace in the marriage license was Amoy, China.
I guess it will be close to impossible to trace any family members on my father's side. Again, thanks for your trying to help.
