I'm looking for any information about my family, roots, and such. If you can help it would be very nice.
but to explain it,
I'm called Danie Wong (Danie is a french name). My father wasn't born in China (as long as i know) but in Mauritius. He is called Lin siong Wong. (i think. He use an occidental name in France. ) and he left Mauritius for France.
then, his parents were from China (before coming to Mauritius). I don't know the name of his mother but his father was Wong Chon Hon. (and i'm even not sure.) I also know he has a brother but i don't know his name.
I also know that my father speaks the Hakka. I was told it was a dialect from the south of china but nothing really precise.
I read it can come from Wang or huang?
So, well...if anybody have an idea or anything else, please tell it. It will be very nice.
I'm sorry for my crappy english, i hope it was understandable.
