hi, IM CHIN: my grandfather's used surname is Yap too. His chinese name is KIM CHAY TIK his filipino name is FRANCISCO YAP. he came from Amoy,china and resided here in REGION V specifically Santo Domingo,Albay. my grandmother said they migrated here in the Philippines because of the war going in china before. I am now 19 born 1989 and my grandfather died when he was 89 years old back when i was 6 turning 7 years old. there was this story that my grand father with his 3 brothers and father who had all passed away was with many other young chinese, and in their travel here in the philippines they have surnamed all of them "YAP" to avoid ceratin conflict before. I want to find my relatives there in Amoy,China and get reaunited with them. Can you pls help me.
