My great great grandfather was one William Henry Ah Lyee. He was a miner in Australia and lived there thirty years prior to his death at age 62. He married Ms. Warthall when he was 45 years old (she was 22). They had seven children, the eldest being 14 when he passed. The marriage, death and birth certificate of the children were all listed in Victoria providence. My great grandfather was second to the youngest, George Albert Ernest Ah Lyee. He changed his name some years later to George Albert Ernest Lee. He married Daisy Francis Annie Silvester. They had two children, one of which is my grandmother. I have been trying to trace my great great grandfathers information. I have a copy of his birth certificate and his parents names. It appears they were married and Ah Lyee was born in Canton China. Beyond that, it gets a bit difficult as all the documents are in chinese.
