My father was Hom Ben Nom. He came from a village from the hoisan or toisan of the Province Guantung, China. There is a whole village with the family name of Hom. There are a lot of people with the last name of Hom in San Diego, Ca., Los Angeles, Ca.
Try calling some of the Hom men. The older the better.
