Loong Do is a village in Zhongshan. The dialect is very distinct, not understandable by the people who speaks the Cantonese dialect. The written words are exactly the same. Contrary to your believe, there are still very lasrge Loog Do speaking in Honolulu, San Francisco, Vanouver,B.C. They even have their own Loong Do Associatio.In fact the early immigration were from Zhongshan District and a large part was from the Loong Do area. Contrary to your believe Loong Do did not change their name, It has grown taking in nearby lands. Several of our cousins visited Loong Do in recent years and was veri impressed with the progress. We stoill have a family home in Loong Do
