Dear all Loois,

How is everything out there. It's more than 3 years since I posted the original message on the 12th. Sept. 1997 and its comforting to note that there are more Loois out there!

By the way, my surname Looi, is the one with the double squares or double mouth in chinese character and not the one that means thunder.

Incidentally, I am also from Penang. However according to my seniors, our ancestors comes from 'Fan Korn Chun' Kong Sei (cantonese), China.

Regards,

Simon Looi

p.s. I am just wondering whether the Loois have any relations with 'Looi Tung Pun' one of the 8 immortals in chinese mythology ?
