My dad was a Seto from Canton, China. I found some information about the name that I would be glad to share. We are originally "Su-Tu" or "Si-Tu2." Seto is the Cantonese version. It is Chinese surname number 437 and it is 4,000 years old. It means "an official in charge of the ritual ceremony in the ancient Ruler's court." I have cousins who use variations such as "Seeto", "Szeto", and "SooHoo." Any more of us out there?
