My name is eveni Tafiti. I am also looking for information on my grandfahter. He was also a chinese plantation worker in Western Samoa somtime in the 1920's to 1945. My mother was born in Samoa on 09 July 1930. She said her dad was taken back to china when she was about 9 or 10 years old. Her fahter's name known to her was Ah-Chew and she didn't know his chinese name. Any information you have about boat names, passengers lists, plantation worker lists, cities and towns in china where all these plantation workers came from in china would be helpful.
