This is a site to trace CHINESE geneaology. Since you're in Freeport, why don't you try to Clayton Geneaological Museum. You can also try bureau of vital statistics if you have the social security # and DOB and DOD. I can't remember if Clayton is in SugarLand or not, but I think there's a new museum in Houston too.
