A good starting point would be www.ancestry.com then search the Social Security Death Index. I did a quick look and found 4 records for people with that name who lived in Louisiana, but they were all born in the early to mid 1900s. Could be records were not kept during the 1800s. The first names of the four people were: Freddie, Geneva, Ellen and Earnest. The records all have the SS numbers listed so if they are your ancestors you should be able to get more information.
