My wife is of Hawaiian Chinese descent.
Her father's name is Lowell Lum. His father came
and grandparents from mainland China in the turn
of the century and settled in Maui. I think that's
when they changed their family name from Lam to Lum,
I'll have to check with my wife.
His grandmother(tutu) had bound feet and was pretty
awnery. My wife will probably be e-mailing you also.
