Hi. I'm not sure what the differences are between chinese and cantonese, nor am I sure that what I've been told is correct. I have been told the "Mei" in my name is "beautiful". My sister, "Mei Lin" was told her name meant "eternal beauty"...we're both small and petite, though! Hahaha!! Incidentally, my chinese family name is "Lin" and I don't have a clue how to find anything about my grandfather or his family. Could someone tell me where to begin? I found this by accident!
