My mother's maiden name is Qua. Her brothers spell their surname, Kuah and Quah. I've been able to find out that our Chinese Character is "Ke". We too are Hokkien. My Great Great Grandparents migrated from Fujien to Malaysia and my parents migrated to Australia. I'm trying to build a family tree but it's difficult to find records. I too would like to know how to go about tracing family lines in Malaysia and China.
