I was born in Vietnam, and like many Chinese people who were born/live in Vietnam, I trace my ancestry to Chaozhou. I was told that my great grandparents (both side of my family) moved from Chaozhou to Vietnam because of famine. I'm also curious about my ancestry and wish to learn more about it.
