Hi Philippa

Carl Kruck here, I got in contact with you a couple of years ago, re. July Davidson. Just wondering if you have found anythiing else on him? I'd love to hear about your progress!

: I've been told that it is possible to get a copy of the naturalisation application which would be signed by the applicant - might give you a further clue in the ongoing puzzle. I'm not sure where these can be found, but for some reason I keep thinking of the Maritime Museum in Sydney? My gg-father was Chinese too (and lived in Queensland), but he had a western name from the earliest records we can find and so far I can't find any indication of naturalisation. However, his father's name was Fu Pan - wonder if there could be a connection here?
: Good luck with your search - I've been looking for a couple of years now with little result, but I refuse to give up.
: Philippa Harvey
