: Karla, I think I had an aunt who lived in Hawaii some time in the past 20 years. Her name was either Joyce or Shirley Yap - who I'm also trying to find. Interesting. I vaguely recall Shirley. I know of
a Eunice Yap. Her son and me used to go skin
diving for lobster in Punaluu when we were in high
school. Can't remember his name. Shirley used to come and visit Mom and Dad, or we'd see her at some 9-course dinner or such. I saw her 2-3 times.
Mostly she'd come during the day while I was away in school. My father, deceased, has an extensive
genealogy library, Peter Lup Young Jr. All volumes
of the genealogy is in the custody/curator of a cousin of mine. I'm sure 'YAP' is in there. Anyway, give a shout. I'd like to know where both of you live. I'm in Louisville, Ky.
