Hi. This is kinda a shot in the dark, but I'm trying to reasearch were my ggf and ggm were from in China. Heres the story. My ggf Fred Gong (Chinese name unknown) immigrated from China to Mexico sometime around 1920. Had my grandfather (Henry) and snuck across the border to Oregon with his wife Mei Law. They lived in Portland where my grandpa Henry met his wife Norma Yee, yada yada yada, eventually theres me.

Gong means river (its drawn like and "I" with three dashes on the left) and we're from Guangdong, but I was wondering if anyone would know more info (specifically, where my greatgrandparents might have been from in Guangdong) Its a shot in the dark, but maybe someone knows. If you do, feel free to email me. Thanks!
