For many years I have looked for a tool to translate the Chinese years to American years for my family Angel Island-San Francisco-California immigration papers. My grandfather was a "paper son" arriving from Hong Kong to the Port of San Francisco.
There are two calendars posted on the University of Oregon (USA) website. The first is "Chinese-American Calendar for the 102 Chinese Years 1849-1951. The second book is Chinese-American Calendar, 1951-2001. Both are compiled by Windon Chander Welch.
These are projects of the University of Oregon's e-Asia project. They are published in an electronic e-Book format, so this link takes you to the Microsoft e-Book website for the free downloads.
