My wife is from Tahiti. We reside in Cincinnati
Ohio now and are trying to do a little genealogy.
It is a little frustrating because we are so far
away, but we keep trying. Anyway I am trying to
surprise my wife by finding out what her family name
means (if any). Her fathers last name is Wan San Kao. Her mothers maiden name was Kong Ah King.
These may have been changed by immigration once they
landed in Tahiti, we dont know. Can you help? At
least point us in the right direction.
