There is a surname Fung in Cantonese. Other than that there is very little information to go on; apparently, this is a general problem for descendants of contract Chinese workers who went to Samoa and were later deported back to China after WWII. Are there any shipping records available in Samoa which may contain passenger information lists when they landed there?
