A very interesting surname, in fact it is not even identified as a surname, so it is rare. Yin County is near Ningbo in eastern Zhejiang, and as you said it is the only entry for this character. However,one of the sources for surnames was derived from place names, and as such yours may have originated from Yin County, Zhejiang. Since you are Hokkien then perhaps your ancestors may have migrated south to Fujian from Zhejiang.
