While I am unable to help you trace your Ongsiapco family roots, I can offer a little assistance with regards to your Chinese name. The "surname" Ongsiapco is actually an amalgamation of three separate entities, Ong, Siap, and Co. Ong is a Chinese surname which is a Hokkien (Fujian) pronuncaition for the surname Wang (king). Siap is a personal name; probably one of two (normally) given to your gf. Co is an add-on term of respect which means "older brother". So, you are really looking for your Ong roots which originated from Fujian Province. There is another well known Ong surname in the Philippines called Ongpin.
