( my English is limited )I'm French, my wife is filipina , we like to know if the surname of my wife is chinese origin.We are very interesting by this.
She know that the grand father to mother side say that have chinese origin . The mother surname is "Quiamco".
I have read on other web page that an professor in Adamson University in Manila Philippines say that all filipino surnames that end with " CO " are chinese in origin.
But the father of my wife have also surname that end with " CO " .Father surname is " Moloboco " but never he say that is from chinese origin. What is true?
Can you confirm if one or two of this surnames have chinese origin or help to give some information (if this is true) ,on where ,what chinese place maybe coming this surnames .
