I posted this on a follow-up, but I'm not sure it will get any hits as its low on the list.
I have relently (tonight) found out more about my Grandfather from my Father.
Full Chinese name Hum Dong Zhou (my Father is not exactly sure of the spelling, but doing some web searching I've had a few hits on Dong Zhou [was this a region in Chinese or a Dynasty???]). His anglo names were Joe/Joseph and Tom (possible from Dong and Joe from Zhou). He was actually a herbalist and later in life owned a few resturants in Montreal. A bit of a sketchy past but straighten himself out a later in life. He passed away in the early 1960s (not 70s as I mentioned earlier).
I haven't looking into the Montreal or Toronto Societies yet (and as you can see from the date of my original post) this has fallen by the way side.
